After graduating from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Business, Dr. Douglass served seven years as a Captain in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. In 1991, her career journey turned toward medicine when she joined Pfizer as a pharmaceutical sales representative. Returning to her passion for animals in 1991, she dedicated herself to healing dogs and cats in Indiana and Houston. Since earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and moving back to Texas in 2004, she has been a trusted Houston-area veterinarian.
With a special interest in emergency medicine and 11 years as an emergency veterinarian, Dr. Douglass has extensive experience in caring for critically ill patients. She has also completed training in companion animal dentistry and has special interest in leadership skills and management. She is always at the forefront of innovation and consistently implements new ideas and explores cutting-edge technology to keep the clinic up-to-date.
